Dialing Modes
Power DialerTwo Dialing Modes
The Power Dialer supports two modes:
Automatic Mode
The dialer places calls automatically as agents become
available. Agents do not choose which leads to call; the
system selects and dials leads from the queue continuously.
This mode maximizes throughput and is used when speed of
contact is the priority.
Manual Mode
Agents initiate each call themselves through the agent
widget. The dialer presents leads and the agent clicks to
dial. This mode gives agents control over pacing and is
used when agents need to review lead information before
calling.
Mode Configuration
The dialing mode is configured per offer. When manual mode
is enabled on an offer, its schedules operate in manual
mode with these automatic side effects:
- Off-hook (instant agent) mode is enabled on the schedule.
- Contact caller permission is set to required.
- Machine detection is disabled.
Different offers can run in different modes simultaneously.
The dialer partitions active schedules by mode when
selecting leads.
