Numbers, Tracking, and Attribution

Offers

Numbers Attach to Offers

A tracking number points at an offer via its forwarding
configuration. When a consumer dials the number, the
platform looks up the offer and begins the call flow. A
single offer can have many tracking numbers, and those
numbers can carry different attribution tokens (campaign
source, publisher ID, and so on).

Ring Pool Numbers

A ring pool is a dynamic number rotation. Instead of
showing a single number to a visitor, the site shows a
number from the pool; the pool rotates through many numbers
to deduplicate different visitors. When the visitor dials
the displayed number, the ring pool resolves the session
back to the visitor and fires the offer's call flow with
the full attribution.

Attribution Tokens

Attribution tokens are key-value pairs attached to a call
to describe where the call came from. The offer and its
routers can branch on token values (using "tokens match"
triggers) to route, convert, or reject based on
attribution. Attribution tokens persist on the contact,
so repeat callers are attributed to their original source.
